Todd is great to work with. Very knowledgeable and takes time explaining the issues. Will also come back out if problem not taken care of. He assisted us with a hornet problem and carpenter ants. I will definitely call Todd again.Posted on Google![]()

We had a wasp nest in the corner of our basement that was about the size of a basketball, so I called Pest Assist and had Todd come out to take a look. Todd was absolutely fantastic! He was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and did an amazing job taking care of the nest. He was a huge help and made the whole experience easy and stress-free. I would highly recommend Todd and Pest Assist to all of my friends and family. Great service from start to finish! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Posted on Google![]()

Todd came out the same day I called. Spent as much time as needed to get rid of a large hornet nest on my yard. They did not want to die, but Todd didn’t leave until he was sure they were completely gone. Highly recommendPosted on Google![]()

We had a yellow jacket nest, and they were swarming all over our porch. I called Pest Asset, and Todd was at our house within the hour—even on a Friday night! He was incredibly thorough. While treating the nest, he also checked the rest of the house to make sure there weren’t any other problems. The next day, the yellow jackets were completely gone! What a relief! I couldn’t be happier with the service. Highly recommend Pest Asset!Posted on Google![]()

I highly recommend Pest Asset and specifically Todd. From the very first call, the experience was a night-and-day difference from other companies.Todd answered his phone right away—no long waits on hold or dealing with a call-center agent. He didn’t put me on any marketing list (unlike the previous company I contacted), and he kept his word completely. My appointment stayed exactly as scheduled; no last-minute changes or excuses. What stood out most was his responsiveness and genuine care. When he learned I was an elderly person dealing with aggressive bald-faced hornets, he came right away and removed the nest. Another company wanted me to wait five days and planned to charge $100 more. Todd got the job done promptly and affordably. It’s been three days now and there’s no sign of those nasty critters. You can depend on him to do a thorough job. He’s friendly, a hard worker, trustworthy, and clearly takes pride in his work. He also takes the time to help you understand the problem, carefully explains what he’s going to do, and offers practical solutions for the future. If you need reliable, professional pest control in the Avon Lake area, call Todd at Pest Asset. He earns my highest recommendation.Posted on Google![]()

We needed emergency removal of a bald-faced hornet nest near my elderly mother’s front door. After a frustrating day dealing with a big company that routed us through a call center and broke its same-day promise, Todd from Pest Asset was a breath of fresh air. He came out immediately, charged a fair price, clearly explained the work and cost with no upselling, and delivered exactly as promised. Highly recommend Todd and Pest Asset. Pest Asset was the only company that actually eradicated the issue I had with mice in my basement. I had 5 other pest control companies come out that did essentially the same thing. They set bait stations and said to call them back if the problem persisted. Todd took the time to seal off all potential entry points using a combination of materials to accomplish this. Furthermore, I paid him extra to sanitize and replace soiled insulation in my basement. His price was fair and he did a fantastic job. I highly recommend this company.Posted on Google![]()

Wonderful customer service! He came to spray for wasp and spiders. 2 weeks later I saw some critters again so I contacted him and he was here same day to retreat. Another plus is, I love that he wears shoe coverings in the house!Posted on Google![]()

Common Pests in Brooklyn, Ohio
Ants: Ants are social insects that live in colonies and can quickly invade homes in search of food and water. They are particularly attracted to sugary substances and crumbs.
Cockroaches: Cockroaches are scavengers that thrive in warm, humid environments and can spread diseases. They are often found in kitchens, bathrooms, and basements.

Preventative Measures to Keep Pests Out
Sanitation: Maintaining a clean and organized home is the first step in preventing pests. Regularly clean up spills, store food properly, and eliminate clutter.
Sealing Entry Points: Seal up cracks and crevices around your home, including around windows, doors, and pipes. This will prevent pests from finding their way inside.

Dispose of garbage properly: Seal garbage bags tightly and store them in a secure container.
Address outdoor pest problems: Eliminate potential breeding grounds for mosquitoes, such as standing water.
